Muslim Terror Attack At Jerusalem Synagogue Seven Dead

At least seven dead in Jerusalem synagogue attack, Israeli police say
CNN — Tensions in Israel and the Palestinian territories remain high after Friday’s shooting, which police chief Yaakov Shabtai described as “one of the worst terror attacks in the past few years.” The shooter in that attack was also later killed by police forces, according to police. Two people were wounded in a separate shooting attack on Saturday in the City of David area of Jerusalem, according to police and ambulance services. The victims, one in his 20s and another in his 40s or 50s, were taken to the trauma unit of the Shaare Zedek Medical Center, the hospital said. In a statement the police said, “The shooting suspect was neutralized” after a “large police force was called to the scene.” The incident is being treated as a suspected terror attack, according to a preliminary report issued by Jerusalem police. Friday’s shooter was also later killed by police forces, according to police, in what police chief Yaakov Shabtai described as “one of the worst terror attacks in the past few years.” “As a result of the shooting attack, the death of 7 civilians was determined and 3 others were injured with additional degrees of injury,” police said. Five of the shooting victims were pronounced dead at the scene, Israel’s Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency rescue service said: four men and a woman. Five people were transported to hospitals, where another man and woman were declared dead. Among the wounded is a 15-year-old boy, the MDA said. Among the wounded is a 15-year-old boy, the MDA said. The attack occurred around 8:15 p.m. local time on Friday, near a synagogue on Neve Yaakov Street, according to a police statement. Shabtai said the gunman “started shooting at anyone that was in his way. He got in his car and started a killing spree with a pistol at short range.” He then fled the scene in a vehicle and was killed after a shootout with police forces, police said. Source

Eighteenth Winter Explosion: Ammunition Factory In Esfahan, Iran

Iran Says 'Small Drones' Attacked Its Military Site
Reports and videos from Iran speak of multiple explosions and a fire at an ammunition factory in the Iranian city of Esfahan shortly after midnight local time. Following multiple reports by eyewitnesses after midnight, January 29, that an ammunition factory in Esfahan was hit by explosions and fire, Iran's defense ministry announced that small drones attacked the complex, and called the attack “unsuccessful.” It claimed all the drones were shot down, without saying if the attack came from inside the country or from outside.Small drones have a very short flying time and if these were used against the ammunition factory, they must have been launched from a close distance. That does not necessarily eliminate the possibility of a foreign country being behind the attack, but it would certainly prove some people in Iran carried it out.

"The explosion took place in one of the munitions manufacturing centers of the Defense Ministry and, according to an announcement by the deputy Esfahan governor for security, there were no casualties," IRIB reported. However, eyewitnesses report and videos show the actual explosions at the factory. Some Twitter users say that the Esfahan factory was manufacturing warheads for the Shahed kamikaze drone that Iran is supplying Russia for attacks in Ukraine. The official, Mohammad Reza Jannesar, later told state television: "The damages are being investigated as well as the causes and elements that caused this explosion and .. will be announced later." According to some reports air defenses of Iran's traditional army and the IRGC have been put on high alert. There were also reports on social media of explosions and smoke in northwest of the capital Tehran. These reports have not been verified. Also, a large blaze engulfed an industrial area near the city of Tabriz, northwest Iran. The government said the fire started at a refinery producing motor oil, but the cause of the devastating blaze remains unclear. A social media post by a group of protesters in the southwestern Khuzestan province reports an explosion in Dezful. Another report says there were air raid sirens in Hamedan’s Nozheh airbase, but these remained unverified, similar to reports from Tehran and elesewhere. Source

Muslim Terrorist Goes On A Stabbing Rampage At Two Catholic Churches In Spain Killing A Sacristan, Wounding A Priest And Several Parishioners

At least one dead, several injured in machete attack at southern Spain churches

MADRID, Jan 25 (Reuters) - Spanish authorities said they were investigating what they called a possible "terrorist" incident after a machete-wielding man attacked several people at two churches in the southern port city of Algeciras, killing at least one person. The man attacked clergymen at two different churches - San Isidro and Nuestra Senora de La Palma, around 300 metres (1,000 feet) apart - just after 8pm on Wednesday evening in downtown Algeciras, a spokesperson for the city said. A source at Madrid's High Court said the incident was being investigated as terrorism. Police said the attacker had been arrested, and a police source shared footage showing two officers escorting a man in a hooded sports top in handcuffs through a police station.

Police have not released details of his name or nationality. Local media, including El Pais newspaper, said he was a 25-year-old Moroccan. The man who was killed was Diego Valencia, a sacristan at the Nuestra Senora de La Palma church, while the titular priest of the parish church of San Isidro, Antonio Rodriguez, was among the injured and is in serious condition, the Algeciras city spokesperson said. An unknown number of others were also injured. El Mundo newspaper reported that four people were hurt in the attack. Police said the suspect first entered the San Isidro church and attacked Rodriguez. A statement by the Algeciras Salesians said Rodriguez, 74, had been celebrating Eucharist when he was attacked. The assailant then went into the Nuestra Senora de La Palma church where he damaged property before attacking Valencia, who fled the church but was chased by the suspect, who inflicted further, fatal injuries on him outside, police said in a statement. California Has THREE Elderly Asian Mass Shooters Within A Year: David Chou, 68; Huu Can Tran, 72; Zhao Chunli, 67

  1. David Chou, 68, Orange County Church Mass Shooter
  2. Huu Can Tran, 72, Monterey Mass Shooter
  3. Zhao Chunli, 67, Half Moon Bay Mass Shooter
'Workplace dispute drove agricultural laborer to shoot seven SEVEN Chinese farm workers' in the San Francisco Bay area - less than 48 hours after Monterey Park shooting near Los Angeles claimed 11 lives

A 67-year-old veteran farm worker has killed seven fellow Chinese agricultural laborers in what local news described as a workplace dispute. Zhao Chunli, who lived in Half Moon Bay, was arrested and is 'fully cooperating' with law enforcement, officials said. The shootings took place at two separate locations in Half Moon Bay, with four shot at a farm ran by Concord Farms, and three at Mountain Mushroom Farms two miles away. Officials are unsure which was attacked first. Children were present on the scene at the time, because some of the workers lived on-site with their families. An eighth person was shot and injured, and airlifted to Stanford Medical Center. ABC7 News confirmed that the suspect, who lived in Pescadero, had worked for decades at one of the mushroom farms where the shooting took place, and all victims were co-workers. Dramatic footage from ABC News shows the moment Zhao was taken into custody, in the parking lot of the Half Moon sheriff's office, at 4:40pm. His maroon Lexus SUV had been spotted leaving the scene, and was then seen at the sheriff's office. A weapon was found in his vehicle: Zhao is believed to have acted alone, and is cooperating with law enforcement. The killings come less than 48 hours after 72-year-old Huu Can Tran shot and killed 11 people celebrating Lunar New Year in Monterey Park, near Los Angeles. Sheriff Christina Corpus of San Mateo County said: 'This kind of shooting is horrific. 'It's a tragedy we hear about too often, but today it has hit home to Half Moon Bay.' Source

Huu Can Tran, 72, Is The Monterey Mass Shooter

'He intended to kill more': Monterey mass shooter slaughtered 10 with magazine-fed semi-automatic pistol and wanted to continue murder spree before two heroes disarmed him: Huu Can Tran, 72, took his life with handgun during police standoff

The gunman who slaughtered 10 people during Chinese Lunar New Year celebrations in Monterey, California was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the van he used to flee after his attempt at a second shooting that was thwarted by 'hero' patrons. Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna identified the mass shooter as 72-year-old Huu Can Tran. He said the motive for the attack is still unclear. 'He intended to kill more people,' Luna said in a news conference on Sunday night. 'They saved lives,' he said of the patrons. 'This could've been much worse.'

Ten people were shot and killed at the Star Ballroom Dance Studio in Monterey Park, where sources told CNN that Tran was once a 'regular patron.' The exact ages of the victims were not released, but Luna said they all appeared to be over 50. Seven of the wounded people remained in the hospital, he added. Tran was carrying what was described as a semi-automatic pistol with an extended magazine, and a second handgun was discovered in the van where he was found dead, Luna added. Earlier Sunday, law enforcement officials swarmed and entered the van after surrounding it for hours. They heard a gunshot and approached the van to find Tran's body slumped over the steering wheel. Lunar New Year Massacre: Irate Husband Shot Up Star Ballroom Dance Club Where Wife Was Dancing

Family Van

Jealous Husband shot up the Dance club where wife was dancing....

The Saturday night Lunar New Year massacre in Monterey Park, California that left 10 dead and another 10 injured, may have been the result of a domestic dispute between a husband and wife. Local resident and leader of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles, Chester Chong, told a local ABC7 outlet that he believes the massacre was not a hate crime, but rather an instance of domestic unrest taken to the extreme. He said he believes the shooting was caused because of hatred between a 'wife and husband,' and that it was a 'personal case' taken to horrific ends. On Sunday morning, law enforcement in California said the suspect who shot up the Star Ballroom dance club has been described as an 'Asian man,' and that it remains unclear if the suspect is linked to another shooting two miles down the road. Man going through divorce crashes dump truck into wife's home, parked cars in South Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A man going through a contentious divorce was caught on camera on a smash-up rampage, crashing a dump truck into his estranged wife's home in South Los Angeles and slamming into parked cars on the street. Patricia Dunn told Eyewitness News the man in the video is her husband. They are going through a divorce, and she says she fears for her life. "A man under that kind of rage - who's to say what he might do?" she said. "He was trying to kill me. He really was." She said the area of the house he struck with his car was her bedroom. The incident happened Sunday afternoon in the area of 107th Street and Normandie Avenue, in South LA's Westmont neighborhood. Patricia says her husband drove by the home three times. First he came by in a Chevy Impala and crashed into the home while she was inside. He returned in a dump truck and did more damage, then came back in the Impala again. The home's metal fence is bent to the ground and there are large dents in the exterior of the home right outside her bedroom. "I was just trying to stay out of the way," she said. "So I don't know if he was drunk or under the influence. I never experienced anything like this in my life." Neighbor Journey Meggerson caught the rampage on camera and her family tried to comfort Patricia. "That was honestly the craziest thing I have ever seen," Meggerson said. "I can't even believe." Kohberger Left The Knife Sheath At The Scene So He Could Get Caught?

Did Idaho 'killer' leave knife sheath at scene on PURPOSE? Expert suggests suspect Bryan Kohberger abandoned blade case in 'remarkably clever move' that could be used to prove innocence

The Idaho quadruple murder suspect may have left a knife sheath at the crime scene as part of a 'remarkably clever move' to get off the hook, a criminologist suggested. David Wilson, a professor at Birmingham City University in the UK, pushed the idea that accused Bryan Kohberger was too smart to leave the evidence behind. He hinted it could have been part of an elaborate plan to ensure he was not convicted, but did not go into specific details why he believed this.It has been speculated that Kohberger could potentially use the knife as a red herring to benefit from double jeopardy laws, which prevent a suspect from being charged with the same crime twice. The DNA found on the sheath was initially tested against Kohberger's father's DNA, which led investigators to the PhD student. Wilson suggested it could have been transferred on to the cover and that may be an argument made by the suspect's defense team. If that argument succeeds and the key plank of evidence fails, resulting in an innocent verdict, Kohberger would likely not be charged again. He told ITV's This Morning: 'Would a highly-skilled, intelligent student who is teaching criminology, a Ph.D. student, have made such a basic error?' The criminologist was responding to host Phillip Schofield who called the abandoning of the knife sheath a 'remarkably clumsy move.' Wilson said: 'One of the things that's really struck me about the person that's been arrested and accused of this is he is intelligent and high-functioning.' He also argued DNA can be transferred from person to person and said he believes the defense may bring that up at trial. 'I could have your DNA,' Wilson said, speaking to This Morning's Holly Willoughby. 'Your DNA is on me. I could go wherever I wanted to go in the next hour and your DNA would be where I go to,' he continued. 'So the defense is clearly going to present issues that will suggest that Kohberger is innocent,' the criminologist offered.  Source

Terror Attack At Davos 2023? Klaus Schwab No Show On Monday......

Davos 2023: What we're watching on the ground at the World Economic Forum

Bring on the private jets, billionaires, pricey snow-boots, splashy nighttime parties, and climate change talks over coffee at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland. The annual event returns to its mid-January time-slot for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic began. The theme this year: Cooperation in a Fragmented World. The five-day confab, which begins on Monday, will attract the world’s elite from politicians to pop-stars. Some big names on the snowy grounds will range from Davos veterans JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon (fresh off fourth quarter earnings being released and a new interest rate warning) to Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon to musician-turned-tech-investor Will.i.Am. Salesforce Co-Founder and CEO Marc Benioff will also be in attendance after making a tough decision to cut 10% of his workforce this month.

Unlike the spring/summer Davos in 2022, Benioff will be absent a co-CEO — his one-time battery mate Bret Taylor recently stepped aside to pursue his next endeavor. The meetings of the top minds in business will come as investors are still feeling the sting of the 2022 bear market in stocks and with recession fears swirling due to rising interest rates. The Russia/Ukraine war also remains omnipresent. "As the conflict between Russia and Ukraine approaches one year, economies and societies will not easily rebound from continued shocks," WEF managing director Saadia Zahidi wrote in this year's Global Risks Report, adding that "more than four in five respondents anticipated consistent volatility over the next two years." The report also also found that a cost of living crisis is the top short-term risk to society. Longer-term challenges such as addressing climate change and natural disasters — always on discussion at WEF — remain on the table. In the background, there will likely be concerns on the outlook for cryptocurrencies in the wake of the FTX meltdown. And Tesla’s stock price plunge at the hands of Twitter-owning Elon Musk may get some attention at the gathering of the exclusive. Source

Twelfth Winter Explosion: Lithuanian Gas Pipeline Hit By Large Explosion

Lithuanian gas pipeline hit by large explosion
A large blast has hit a gas pipeline in the Pasvalys region of northern Lithuania, near the Latvian border. Images broadcast by local media showed flames illuminating the night sky, but officials say there have been no injuries caused by the explosion. Latvia's Defence Minster Artis Pabriks wrote on Twitter that the cause of the incident would be investigated and said sabotage could not be ruled out. But the pipeline's operator said it did not believe the blast was suspicious. "According to the initial assessment, we do not see any malign cause, but the investigation will cover all possible options," Amber Grid chief executive Nemunas Biknius told reporters. "We do not see the signs of any potential impact from outside." Mr Biknius said the pipeline - which was built in 1978 - had undergone some recent maintenance work, and that officials would try to establish whether that had contributed to the blast. "All reasons will be investigated and clarified in the coming days," Mr Biknius said. He added that the gas supply to the pipeline had been cut off and that he expected the fire to subside in the coming hours. Amber Grid added that the blast had taken place "away from any residential buildings". The pipeline consists of two parallel systems, and Amber Grid said the explosion occurred in one of them. The other was undamaged. Source

First Gas Stove Explosion Of 2023: Gas Stove Explosion Destroys Two Homes In Port Richmond, Philadelphia

‘Port Richmond Strong’: Community members raising money to help families devastated by explosion

The Port Richmond community is coming together to support survivors of the devastating explosion that injured at least five people, destroyed three rowhouses, and damaged 43 others and a recreation center. “$10 is going to go a long way,” said Ken Paul, president of Port Richmond on Patrol and Civic (PROPAC). He lives a block away from the site of the explosion and is helping organize fundraising efforts to support the affected families. “I don’t care how small it is. You’re still making a difference and you’re willing to help your neighbors.” Organizations including PROPAC, Ancient Order of Hibernians, Division 87, and the Saint George Alumni Group have come together to form a coalition called Port Richmond Strong. So far, the group has set up a Venmo account (@portrichmondstrong) to receive cash donations and is collecting gift cards to help the families with essentials. “When you have nothing and you’ve lost everything, anything is more than nothing,” Paul said.

The group is asking for gift cards to stores including Target, Walmart, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Wawa, and ShopRite, as well as Visa and Mastercard. “They’re all right within walking distance of where we live,” Paul said. “Lowe’s and Home Depot for repairs and things along those lines. Wawa gift cards so they can purchase gas, because a lot of them are staying away from here, so they’re traveling back and forth … Target, Walmart so they can buy essentials.” In addition to the three households whose homes were destroyed, several families remain displaced while they wait for structural evaluations on their homes, Paul said. Others need to make repairs to blown-out doors and windows, and may be struggling to meet their homeowners insurance deductibles. Paul describes the neighborhood as a “blue-collar community,” with many elderly residents living on fixed incomes. “Then something like this happens to them — it’s devastating,” Paul said. Port Richmond Strong plans to collect donations until sometime in March, and will then distribute the money to families according to need, Paul said. Source

Bolsonaro Supporters Storm Government Buildings in Brazil - LIVE Breaking News Coverage

Lula vows to punish Brazilian Congress invaders

Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva says perpetrators will be found and punished after supporters of Brazilian far-right ex-President Jair Bolsonaro stormed Congress. The dramatic scenes come a week after the left-wing veteran's inauguration. Supporters of Mr Bolsonaro - who refuse to accept that he lost the election - broke through police barriers in the capital, Brasília. Police used tear gas but failed to repel the demonstrators. Mr da Silva - better known as Lula - said there was "no precedent in the history of our country" for the scenes seen at Congress and at the Supreme Court. He called the violence the "acts of vandals and fascists". Protesters have smashed windows, while others reached the Senate chamber, where they jumped on to seats and used benches as slides. It is unclear if they are still in the building. Footage on social media shows protesters pulling a policeman from his horse and attacking him outside the building. Lima, a 27-year-old production engineer, said: "We need to re-establish order after this fraudulent election. "I'm here for history, for my daughters," she told the AFP news agency. Many are drawing comparisons with the storming of the US Capitol on 6 January 2021 by supporters of Donald Trump, an ally of Mr Bolsonaro. Mr Bolsonaro's supporters are calling for military intervention and the resignation of Lula, who defeated his far-right rival in October's election. Many of them created camps in cities across Brazil, some of them outside the military barracks. That's because his most ardent supporters want the military to intervene and make good elections that they say were stolen. It looked like their movement had been curbed by Lula's inauguration - the camps in Brasilia had been dismantled and there was no disruption on the day he was sworn in. But Sunday's scenes show that those predictions were premature. Justice and Public Security Minister Flavio Dino called the invasion "an absurd attempt to impose [the protesters'] will by force". "It will not prevail," he wrote on Twitter. Leaders from Latin America have condemned the violence. Chilean President Gabriel Boric said Brazil has its "full support in the face of this cowardly and vile attack on democracy". Colombian President Gustavo Petro said "fascism has decided to stage a coup", while Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard said Mexico expresses "full support for President Lula's administration, elected by popular will". Lula is currently on an official trip in São Paulo state. In his inauguration speech, he vowed to rebuild a country in "terrible ruins". He decried the policies of his predecessor, who went to the US to avoid the handover ceremony. Source

Iranian Islamic Bodybuilder Suspected Of Planning Serious Act Of Violence Using Ricin And Cyanide In Germany

Germany: Man suspected of planning 'serious act of violence'

Video shows apparent explosion before massive fire at suburban townhomes; firefighter injured
CHICAGO (WLS) -- A firefighter was injured Thursday as a massive fire ripped through homes in unincorporated Maine Township Thursday evening, according to officials. The blaze broke out in the 9400-block of Margail Avenue, between suburban Des Plaines and Park Ridge. Doorbell camera obtained exclusively by ABC7 captured a sudden apparent explosion before flames began sweeping through the townhome."We just ran out to really check on our neighbors and just make sure they were OK," said neighbor Nica Simmons. Officials said the fire started just after 4 p.m. in one unit before spreading to three others. The roof caved in. "We were just trying to drive through and then this happened. It was crazy. We got stuck. We couldn't leave," said Lorenz Tauzon, who happened to be driving through the area at the time of the fire. The fire was struck out before 7 p.m., with firefighter remaining on scene to monitor for hotspots. The firefighter received some burns during firefighting efforts and was taken to hospital for treatment after fire was out, officials said. At least one townhome was gutted by the fire as neighbors watched from afar. Four families have been displaced, officials said. Pace provided warming buses until all the displaced residents had secured somewhere to stay. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Fire officials said they are still trying to determine if there were any working smoke and carbon monoxide detectors inside these townhomes. Source

Sinaloa Cartel Members Shoot At 737 Military Plane following arrest of Sinaloa cartel leader Ovidio Guzman in Mexico!

Mexican authorities arrest son of notorious drug lord ‘El Chapo’
CNN — Mexican authorities have arrested Ovidio Guzmán, son of notorious drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzmán, a source from the federal government of Mexico told CNN, in a dramatic operation in the northern state of Sinaloa on Thursday that led to clashes around the city of Culiacán. Guzmán is described as “a high-ranking member of the Sinaloa Cartel” in a press release issued by the United States State Department on December 16, prior to his arrest. He was previously arrested by federal authorities in October 2019, but was released on the orders of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador to avoid further bloodshed. Chaos broke out in the city around Guzmán’s arrest on Thursday, with local officials telling citizens to shelter at home amid clashes with cartel members in various parts of Culiacán. Social media videos appear to show trucks on fire and intense shooting near the airport, which was closed for most of the day due to the violence. CNN has not yet verified these videos. Passengers appeared to crouch for cover in an Aeromexico plane according to video shared on social media, which was hit by a bullet while grounded in Culiacán. No injuries were reported, said Aeromexico, which has canceled all its operations to and from the Sinaloan cities of Culiacan, Los Mochis and Mazatlan. Culiacán International Airport closed after Guzmán’s arrest for security reasons, airport authorities said on their Twitter account. In a morning address on Thursday, President López Obrador said the operation in Culiacán had been underway since dawn. As the arrest unfolded, Sinaloa Secretary of Public Security Cristóbal Castañeda said that vehicles were being looted and blockades “are taking place in different parts of the city” as he asked the public not to leave the city. Sixth Winter Explosion: Two Powerful Explosion Devastate Apartment Buildings In Stockholm Five Arrested

2 powerful explosions devastate apartment buildings in Stockholm

Two powerful bomb explosions devastated apartment buildings in the Swedish capital Stockholm, local media reported Monday. No injuries were reported following the explosions, but five people have been arrested on suspicion of various crimes in connection with the incident, according to public broadcaster SVT. Bomb technicians and forensic technicians are investigating the scene and the police have launched a preliminary investigation into the incidents. Shortly after 3 a.m. local time Monday (0200GMT), police and emergency services were called to Grimsta in western Stockholm after an explosion, SVT reported. “I was woken up by the bang and didn't have time to think but was in a state of shock. I flew out of bed and ran straight to my child, who was scared,” said a resident who showed his apartment to SVT and wanted to remain anonymous out of concern for his child. “Terrible that it will happen in Sweden in 2023. You should be safe in your own home, but apparently not,” he said. According to the police, the building suffered extensive damage. “It was an extremely powerful explosion which has caused extensive damage to the entrance to the residential building,” police officer Ola Osterling told news outlet TT.

'A big bang'

Local media reported that a well-known rap artist has been arrested as a suspect in the incident. The rapper is known to have links to criminal circles, according to the Aftonbladet daily. Police believe the explosion may have targeted another well-known rapper, it said. In Grimsta many were affected after the bombing, with windows smashed in several apartments. “It was a big bang, it felt like it was war,” a resident told SVT. Another explosion occurred in Bagarmossen in southern Stockholm just before 4.30 a.m. local time (0330GMT). According to SVT, a man was arrested this morning on suspicion of participation in dangerous destruction and illegal threats. Police currently do not see any connection between the two explosions but say they will investigate them in the wake of several recent incidents, including a New Year’s Eve shooting death of 20-year-old man in Vallingby in Grimsta. Explosions are growing more common in Sweden, where gang members often target rivals with bombings. Source

Muslim Convert Trevor Bickford's New Years Eve Machete Attack On Three NYPD Cops

The 'All-American jihadi': Times Square 'terrorist' was typical Maine boy who loved wrestling, NFL and dreamed of being soldier... before his dad died of an overdose and he converted to Islam

Trevor Bickford appeared to be a typical, all-American teenager before he allegedly became a radicalized Muslim and slashed two cops with a machete in Times Square. The alleged Islamic extremist, 19, once made the school honor roll, won awards for his artwork and was a member of the championship football team in his hometown of Wells, Maine. But after his father died of a drug overdose in 2018, it's believed Bickford's life descended into turmoil. By the time Bickford made his way to New York City on Amtrak alone for the alleged attacks this weekend, the teen was already reportedly on the FBI's radar. He was on the Bureau's terrorism 'Guardian Watchlist,' and had told his aunt he was planning to travel to Afghanistan to fight, sources told The New York Post. On Saturday night, Bickford allegedly attacked two NYPD police officers on Eighth Avenue between 51st and 52nd Street, right outside Times Square where thousands of revelers were ringing in the new year. Another officer shot at Bickford, striking him in the shoulder. He remains hospitalized at the Bellevue and charges are pending.Bickford does not have criminal record according to a preliminary investigation, but police sources say the Bureau in Boston have an open case on him. Authorities have told NBC they were looking into whether the suspect had previously posted what they called jihadist writings online and and then traveled to New York City to target police. Photos posted to Facebook show Bickford at different times of his life, many with his two brothers Devin and Travis. Source
