Bad to the bone: Moment hero Polish chef called Lukasz used a narwhal tusk to tackle London Bridge terrorist after grabbing it off the wall at Fishmongers Hall

A chef at Fishmongers' Hall who grabbed a narwhal tusk to fight off a knifeman is the latest hero to be identified in the London Bridge terror attack. Lukasz, originally from Poland, tried to pin down knifeman Usman Khan, 28, who wore a fake suicide vest, using a five-foot narwhal tusk he took from the wall of Fishmongers' Hall yesterday. One man - identified as Cambridge graduate Jack Merritt, 25 - and one woman were killed in yesterday's attack, and three others were injured. Video exclusively obtained by the Daily Mail shows Lukasz using the narwhal tusk as he and a group of men try to pin down the attacker. Source

MUSLIM Mayor Of London Sadiq Khan Allowed For The Early Release Of MUSLIM Terrorist Usman Khan In 2018 After Receiving A Letter From Khan In 2012 When Sadiq Khan Was A Member of Parliament...

'I want to be a good British citizen': London Bridge terrorist's prison letter asking for deradicalisation - before he was AUTOMATICALLY freed after seven years for Mumbai-style plot despite his trial judge saying he should NEVER be free

The London Bridge terrorist who stabbed two people to death in a horrific knife rampage yesterday sent a grovelling letter from prison begging to be sent on a deradicalisation course during his sentencing for his first terror offences, it has been revealed. Usman Khan, 28, was jailed in 2012 for his role in an al Qaeda-inspired terror group that plotted to bomb the London Stock Exchange and the US Embassy and kill Boris Johnson. In an old letter from 2012, unveiled today, the terrorist begged to be shown mercy and asked for a course to be arranged so that he could 'properly learn Islam and its teachings, and I can prove I don't carry the extreme views which I might have carried before.'

Letter dated 2012 when Sadiq Kahn was a Member of Parliament...

Seems the name is crossed out......

He wrote: 'I am much more mature and want to live my life as a good Muslim and also a good citizen of Britain.  'So if you could arrange something for me and send me the details, this would be truly appreciated.'   The letter emerged as one of the victims was revealed to be Cambridge University graduate Jack Meritt, the course co-ordinator for Learning Together, the education scheme run by the University of Cambridge's Institute of Criminology that Usman Khan had been attending yesterday afternoon.   It is unclear how Khan made his way to the event, as he was wearing a tag and was supposedly monitored.     A furious political row began today after it was revealed that Khan was released automatically from prison last year - though he was still tagged and monitored.  Source

London Bridge attack: Usman Khan was student and personal friend of Anjem Choudary

The London Bridge attacker, Usman Khan said he wanted to live his life "as a good citizen of Britain" after he was jailed on terrorism charges in 2012.

Khan, a convicted terrorist released less than seven years into a 16-year prison sentence for a plot to bomb the London Stock Exchange, had Anjem Choudary’s private mobile phone number stored on his phone at the time of his initial arrest, the Henry Jackson Society has found.

After he was convicted in 2012, Khan asked his lawyer to be enrolled in a programme of deradicalisation to "prove to the authorities" that he was no longer "immature", a letter obtained by ITV shows.

He said he wanted to "learn Islam and its teachings" through a course run by the Home Office, and "live my life as a good Muslim".

Khan was one of a series of Al-Muhajiroun connected terrorists to be released over a six-month period beginning in the Autumn of 2018. He was known to have attended a series of Al-Muhajiroun protests and street stalls in the Midlands area prior to his arrest.

Before his conviction for the LSE terror plot, police had previously raided his home in Tunstall over concerns about his links to Choudary.

Dr Paul Stott a research fellow at the Centre on Radicalisation and Terrorism at Henry Jackson Society, said that "all these years later, and Anjem Choudary’s one-time acolytes are still butchering members of the public on our streets". Source

MUSLIM London Bridge Attacker Release From Jail A Year Ago By London Mayor SADIQ KHAN...

London Bridge attacker was an Islamic extremist released from jail a year ago and 'still wearing an ELECTRONIC TAG': Killer broke free from a nearby prison rehabilitation event to go on the rampage that left two dead - before police shot him dead

The knife attacker shot dead on London Bridge was known to police and had connections to terror groups, a security source said. The attacker had links to Islamist terror groups, the security source added. The knife-wielding terrorist, who was wearing a fake suicide vest and has not been named, was killed on London Bridge on Friday afternoon in full view of horrified onlookers. The attacker was a convicted terrorist who had served time in prison and was wearing an electronic tag, according to The Times newspaper. The paper added he was attending a Cambridge University conference on prisoner rehabilitation being held at Fishmongers' Hall and 'threatened to blow up' the building. It went on to quote unnamed Whitehall sources as saying the attacker had been released from prison around a year ago after serving time for a 'terrorism-related offence', and had agreed to wear an electronic tag.   A maintenance worker who witnessed the London Bridge knife attack claims he was told the assailant had been in prison for terrorism offences. MUSLIM Goes On A Stabbing Spree In London Killing TWO

Terrifying new footage shows moment hero bystanders armed with a fire extinguisher and a stick chase knife-wielding terrorist across London Bridge before he is sprayed with jets of water and grappled to the ground

This is the moment that a brave bystander used a fire extinguisher to tackle a knifeman wielding two weapons on London Bridge this afternoon. Two people were killed today and up to twelve were injured after the maniac pulled the knives on innocent people on the north side of London Bridge just before 2pm. Video footage showed the attacker running across London Bridge clutching the weapons as a fearless member of the public trailed him. The white-haired man then confronted the terrorist who turned to him, holding up the two knives, before being cornered by the group of civilians chasing after him The man who was chasing the black-capped killer over the bridge then unleashed a powerful spray of water on him from the fire extinguisher. The terrorist was then bundled to the ground as other people waded in, while another man hurried away with his knife. Another man was also seen pointing a large stick at the terrorist. One witness at the scene said the stick had in fact been a Narwhal whale tusk and that the man had taken it from Fishmongers' Hall and ran out with it after learning of the incident. The attacker, who has not yet been identified by police was thought to have had one of the two knives strapped to his arm and had also been wearing a fake explosives device, which was strapped around his waist. It is believed he was a convicted terrorist who had served time in prison and was wearing an electronic tag, according to The Times newspaper. The paper added he was attending a Cambridge University conference on prisoner rehabilitation being held at Fishmongers' Hall and 'threatened to blow up' the building. Metropolitan Police Chief Cressida Dick confirmed this evening that two stabbing victims had died and three injured people were being treated in a hospital. Source

Woe to the inhabitants of the earth! There will be bloody wars and famines, plagues and infectious diseases.  Our Lady of La Salette 19 Sept. 1846 (Published by Mélanie 1879)

Two people diagnosed with pneumonic plague in China

Two people in China have been diagnosed with plague, the latest cases of a disease more commonly associated with historical catastrophe. Plague is caused by the bacterium Yersinia pestis and can arise in three forms – a lung infection, known as pneumonic plague; a blood infection, known as septicemic plague; and a form that affects the lymph nodes, called bubonic plague. The latter form is perhaps the most famous, and was behind several pandemics including the Black Death of the late middle ages, which is estimated to have killed up to 60% of the European population. The two new cases being treated at a hospital in Beijing are of the pneumonic form, which is even more serious than bubonic plague. Source

Saudi Arabia's King Salman Meets With Gina Haspel: Mohammad Bin Salman Al Saud NOT Invited....

Saudi king hosts CIA chief after Twitter charges

Riyadh (AFP) - Saudi Arabia's King Salman hosted the Central Intelligence Agency's director Thursday, state media said, after three people were charged in the United States with spying on Twitter users critical of the royal family.

The king and Gina Haspel "discussed a number of topics of mutual interest", the official Saudi Press Agency said, without offering details.

The meeting in Riyadh was attended by a number of Saudi officials including Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and intelligence chief Khalid al-Humaidan.

Haspel's visit comes after a US court on Wednesday charged three people, including two Saudis, with spying on Twitter users critical of the kingdom's royal family.

A senior Saudi official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that the kingdom had not yet looked at the criminal complaint.

"But what I can tell you is that we expect all our citizens to abide by the laws of the countries in which they live," the official told reporters in Washington.

The trio -- including two former Twitter employees -- allegedly worked to unmask the ownership details behind dissident Twitter accounts on behalf of someone prosecutors designated "Royal Family Member-1".

The Washington Post reported the latter to be Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the kingdom's de facto ruler.

Ties between firm allies Washington and Riyadh have been strained over the brutal murder last year of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

A critic of Prince Mohammed, Khashoggi was killed and dismembered by Saudi agents inside the kingdom's consulate in Istanbul.

The CIA has reportedly concluded that the prince himself was closely linked to the murder, a charge vigorously denied by Riyadh.

The Saudi official said that President Donald Trump's administration was aware that "Saudi Arabia is taking steps to deal with this issue".

"I think people are recognising that a trial is underway, recognising that it was a mistake that should not have happened," he said of Khashoggi's killing. Source

Mohammad Bin Salman Al Saud Sends Two Twitter Twits Ahmad Abouammo And Ali Alzabarah To Spy On Twitter Users....

Allegations that two former Twitter employees spied on users for the Saudi government have spotlighted the threat posed by insiders who exploit their access to the mountains of sensitive data held by tech companies.

The Twitter case adds an alarming international dimension to the longstanding problem of rogue employees who steal information or snoop on others.

"It's stupid to think foreign intelligence services would spend tens of millions trying to hack a company like Twitter when they can pay less than $100,000 to bribe employees," cybersecurity expert Robert Graham of Errata Security said Thursday.

Detecting insider access isn't easy, despite the availability of tools to do so, experts say. Yet the wealth of data that these companies have turned them into lucrative targets.

Companies that provide email, social media, search and other services have troves of personal data, including users' location, hobbies, political views and connections to other users. Many services also have users' private emails and other conversations.

While activists fearing repercussions might use a pseudonym in public posts, that's ultimately tied to a real account. An employee can look up the email address or phone number used to sign up and the locations used to access the app.

The coordinated spying effort unveiled Wednesday included the user data of over 6,000 Twitter users, including at least 33 usernames for which Saudi Arabian law enforcement had submitted emergency disclosure requests to Twitter, investigators said.

Most big tech platforms already take measures to prevent employees from abusing their position to spy on a crush they saw on Tinder.

Detecting well-instructed moles working for foreign governments is a "whole different kind of problem" because they may be cannier about what data they access and how to justify it, said John Scott-Railton, a researcher with the internet watchdog Citizen Lab.

He said companies can erode collaboration and trust if they put up too many silos, but they become a target if they put up too few.

Wednesday's federal complaint in San Francisco alleged that the Twitter employees were able to access the private data, including a user's email account, despite holding jobs that didn't require access to Twitter users' private information. That violated company policy, according to the complaint.

Ahmad Abouammo and Ali Alzabarah were charged with acting as agents of Saudi Arabia without registering with the U.S. government. Prosecutors say they were rewarded by Saudi royal officials with a designer watch and tens of thousands of dollars funneled into secret bank accounts.

Twitter said in a statement that it "limits access to sensitive account information to a limited group of trained and vetted employees," but declined to elaborate on how the breach described by prosecutors happened. A year ago, after reports first surfaced of Twitter insiders targeting Saudi dissidents on the platform, the company said that "no other personnel have the ability to access this information, regardless of where they operate."

It's not clear how Twitter's security practices compare to other tech giants or if they have improved since 2015, when Abouammo and Alzabarah stopped working at the San Francisco company.

Google, Facebook and Apple didn't respond to email and phone requests for comment Thursday on how they prevent rogue employees from accessing users' email and other online services. Microsoft, which owns LinkedIn, declined comment.

"We should not assume that the Saudi government is the only government that has thought about doing this," said Suzanne Spaulding, a former undersecretary for cybersecurity at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Spaulding said tech companies that are holding so much private data need to do a better job of segregating that data and limiting who can see it. "These are people who didn't need access to this information to do their job," she said of the indicted former Twitter employees.

Jake Williams, president of Rendition Infosec and a former U.S. government hacker, said no one should be surprised when a foreign intelligence service infiltrates a big tech company. He said better auditing inside company networks can detect the espionage.

"Too often, logging is written purely for the purposes of troubleshooting outages and service issues, not tracking insiders," he said.

But Tarik Saleh, a security engineer at DomainTools, said it takes resources for companies to look for anomalies in employees' access to data. While artificial intelligence systems in recent years have had moderate success in automatically scanning for unusual activity, "once you're in the weeds, it's extremely difficult," he said. "Very few organizations can do it right, even sophisticated ones like the NSA or the CIA."

Tony Cole, chief technical officer at Attivo Networks, said that rather than focus solely on detecting unauthorized access, it's better for companies to limit data access to authorized individuals to begin with. Such systems can also flag unauthorized attempts, he said.

Some cybersecurity firms offer not just monitoring but active measures to try to detect employee misbehavior — such as introducing as bait bogus data with commercial value and seeing if workers suspected of previous wrongdoing take that bait, said Alex Holden, chief security officer of Hold Security in Milwaukee.

Experts said tech companies — particularly social media and email providers — must recognize that they will be targets of insider threats given the types of information they hold.

"We've talked to them about it for years and they've kind of listened with half an ear maybe," former FBI counterintelligence agent Frank Montoya said.

Holden said the new cases of data abuse that pop up every month point to "a certain amount carelessness among companies."

Facebook recently made headlines when it disclosed that it had left millions of user passwords exposed on its network in plaintext that should have been encrypted.

And then there was the CapitalOne hack, in which a former Amazon Web Services employee who knew her way around the network stands accused of obtaining records on roughly 100 million people.

Until recently, tech companies were also routinely letting employees and contractors review users' audio interactions with digital assistants. While that was done to improve services, many of the conversations leaked. Companies scaled back their practices and offered better disclosures only after news reports emerged. Source

Mormon LeBaron SEX CULT Ties With NXIVM SEX CULT Leader Keith Raniere.....

Women killed in Mexican cartel murders had alleged ties to sex cult Nxivm

The nine women and children slaughtered in Mexico on Monday were part of a Mormon community with ties to the alleged sex-cult Nxivm. The outpost Mormon community in Mexico is where underlings of Nxivm leader Keith Raniere recruited young women to work as nannies in an upstate New York compound run by the accused cult — suggesting at least in part that the jobs would get the girls away from their home region’s drug violence, according a man hired by Raniere to produce a documentary about the group. The three moms and six kids killed in Monday’s violence in the northern town of Sonora are believed to have been the victims of a drug cartel, which may have mistaken the group’s caravan of three SUVs for rivals, Mexican authorities said Tuesday.  The filmmaker working with Raniere at the time, Mark Vicente, told the online magazine Slate that the documentary ultimately became a recruiting video for Nxivm, which purported to be a self-help group but morphed into what the feds called a cult that sexually, physically and emotionally abused its mainly female followers.  The film included an interview with Julian LeBaron, who identified himself as the cousin of one of the moms killed Monday and who is a leader of the Mexico Mormon community.  LeBaron’s brother was kidnapped by a local drug cartel in 2009, and the family defiantly refused to pay a ransom. The cartel eventually released the abducted man. Source

VIDEO Of Mormon LeBaron Family Burned Out SUV In Sonora State Mexico...

How a fierce rivalry between two of Mexico's biggest cartels could have led to Mormon massacre that killed three mothers and six children

Authorities believe a fierce rivalry between two Mexican drug cartels fighting for control is to blame for the massacre of nine Americans - as they investigate another fatal shootout between the gangs just hours before the Mormon family were slaughtered.   The nine LeBaron family victims, including three mothers and six children, were gunned down on Monday morning while traveling in three SUVS from the Mormon community where they live in Sonora state.   Mexican officials say the family were victims of a territorial dispute between an arm of El Chapo's Sinaloa Cartel and its Juarez Cartel rival.  Authorities believe the family may have been used to lure one side into a firefight.   They have specifically blamed the Juarez Cartel and its armed wing La Linea for the attack on the LeBaron family.   The area in Sonora state where the family was killed is dominated by a Sinaloa cartel offshoot called the Salazar.
