'Several' people are trapped after Amtrak train derails in Montana

At least three train cars have derailed, while two have detached from the track in Havre, Montana, with some lying on their sides, leaving passengers trapped inside.   The train's derailment is suspected to have happened between the Havre and Shelby stops in Montana, according to KXLY. Crews are currently setting up ladders on the side of the cars in what appears to be a rescue effort to safely remove passengers. The train is believed to be Empire Builder 7, which runs from Chicago to Seattle. Amtrak's website currently says this train is 'unavailable.'   Two train cars allegedly separated and slid down a 30 foot embankment.  Ambulances have arrived on scene. Passengers are confirming on social media that there are injuries.   There may be one unconfirmed fatality, according to train passenger Jacob Cordeiro's Twitter.   Amtrak has been requested for a comment.    This is an developing story and Daily Mail will continue to update it.
