Fire crews work to put out flames from derailed train in Wichita Falls
Fire crews in Texas battled a chemical fire caused by a train derailment near Oklaunion Saturday. Several cars carrying denatured alcohol burst into flames.
Hazmat teams from the Vernon and Wichita Falls Fire Departments responded to the scene.Sheppard Air Force base assisted by using foam suppression on the fire.
Because the derailment happened under an overpass, the fire has caused traffic to be re-routed.
No injuries have been reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Source
