Nashville hotel evacuated after explosion
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The HomeTown Studios at 1210 Murfreesboro Pike was evacuated Sunday afternoon after some type of explosion.
Nashville Fire Department officials say one person was transported from the third floor to a hospital for burns.
Investigators have not yet released what caused the explosion. Source

An explosion at a Nashville hotel over the weekend sent five people to the hospital, one of the patients in critical condition, the Nashville Fire Department reported.
Crew responded to the call at 3:36 p.m. on Sunday at the Hometown Suites at 1210 Murfreesboro Pike after someone dialed 911 to report there had been an explosion in her hotel room and a male was injured, fire spokesman Joseph Pleasant said.
Crews arrived within 5 minutes and learned five people were hurt.
"Four we transported including one in critical condition with severe burns," Pleasant said. "Another person was taken to the hospital by private vehicle." Source
