It is Ramadan.
London Bridge station has been evacuated following a report of a suspicious item found onboard a train.
Trains are also not stopping at the station this afternoon (Wednesday, April 21), Thameslink announced shortly after 12.33pm.
Crowds have formed outside the station as police scramble inside. Many have taken to social media to share pictures of the evacuation.
A police car is also pictured outside.
According to a spokesperson for Thameslink, emergency services are dealing with an 'incident' there.
They said: "We've been informed that the emergency services are dealing with an incident at London Bridge.
"Some trains will not be stopping at London Bridge."
They continued: "We've been informed that the emergency services are dealing with an incident at London Bridge.
"As a precaution, the station is being evacuated.
"Trains that usually stop at London Bridge will be diverted and not call at London Bridge."
The British Transport Police has confirmed they are assessing a suspicious item. More to follow. Source
