An NYPD officer nicknamed 'Bullethead' has been sued 23 times, costing the city hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Sergeant David Greico, a 12-year veteran of the force, has been known for bursting into homes and making arrests without warrants and without following proper protocol.
According to records obtained by the New York Daily News, all but one lawsuit involved an arrest.
The Brooklyn District Attorney's office decided to not prosecute two of the cases and in 19 of the cases, those who filed the suits were cleared of all criminal charges.
So far, the city has paid more than $280,0000 to settle suits involving Greico. Source
